K POP 커버댄스를 태국에서 올해로 13년째 주최하고 있다.

이 대회를 소중히 여기는 M과 H 두사람의 질긴 집념으로 한해도 거르지 않고

이렇게 오래 해왔는데 그들과 동행해온 나로선 막막할 때도 많다.

최근 새롭게 알게된 것은 전세계에서 민간회사 주도로 국가대회를 주최하는 곳은 태국 밖에 없다고 한다.

7월 14일 태국 치앙마이에서 K Soft Power 페스티벌이 열리고 다음날엔 K POP 커버댄스 치앙마이가 개최된다. 치앙마이는 태국 제2의 도시인데, 지방의 태국 젊은이들에게도 기회를 주자는 취지에서 기획됐다.

미녀 매남이 많은 태국 북부 젊은이들의 색다른 무대가 펼쳐지길 기대해 본다.

We have been hosting the K-pop cover dance competition in Thailand for the 13th consecutive year.

Thanks to the unwavering determination of M and H, who value this competition dearly, we have been able to continue this tradition without fail year after year. Even though I have faced many challenges along the way while accompanying them, it has been a rewarding journey.

Recently, I learned that Thailand is the only country in the world where private companies lead national competitions. On July 14th, the K Soft Power Festival will take place in Chiang Mai, Thailand, followed by the K-pop cover dance event the next day. Chiang Mai, the second-largest city in Thailand, was planned with the intention of providing opportunities to young people in the local region.

I look forward to witnessing the unique stages of the talented and beautiful youth from northern Thailand."
